Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has starred romance will announce who will take the location filming in the Balkans. The announcement was made during a surprise visit to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina.


"When I left Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday (21 / 8), Angelina Jolie has said it will be in the region to make a film in the autumn of this year," said UNHCR - The UN refugee agency.


Angelina itself is a goodwill ambassador for the UN agency.


"The movie is a love story set in during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war, which focuses on couples who met on the eve of war and the impact of war on their relationship," he said.


Angelina confirms that the film would not carry any political message and added that the casting will be drawn from different ethnic groups in the former Yugoslavia.


According to national radio, Angelina will be playing in the film and also directed.


Earlier the star called on the leaders of Bosnia in order to expedite the return of thousands of refugees from a brutal civil war in 1990.


"I hope there will soon be practicable measures to improve the living standards of all these people," said Angelina was quoted as saying by the UNHCR statement.


Angelina whose visits conducted in conjunction with the European launch of her new film in which revolves around a spy, SALT, last time I visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in April with his partner, Brad Pitt's top stars.


Angelina praises new strategy approved by the parliament of Bosnia for the return of people who became refugees in their country at the latest by 2014, the UNHCR said.


"Political leaders have demonstrated the spirit of compromise in this far. Now that's a bit more urgent," Angelina added.


1992-1995 war killed 100,000 people and made 2.2 million people are displaced and missing in Bosnia. As many as 113 000 people are still not back to their hometown or can not go home, UNHCR said.
